Not only will Victory Cruise Lines be sailing to Cuba with its Victory I come February 2018, but it has also acquired sister-ship Victory II to begin voyages in May 2018.

The second ship in the fleet will be identical to the Victory I, carrying 202 passengers at 5,000 tons and 300 feet in length. All-inclusive amenities will extend to all food and drink (even alcoholic beverages) and shore excursions.

Following upgrades to match the first, the Victory II will set sail from Boston, Massachusetts on May 20, 2018.

The ship will first embark on seven-night Canada and New England sailings with itineraries spanning Boston/Gloucester, Massachusetts; and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Destinations will include Provincetown on Cape Cod, Massachusetts; Newport, Rhode Island; Plymouth, Massachusetts; Martha's Vineyard off Cape Cod; Portland and Bar Harbor, Maine; and Lunenburg, Nova Scotia; plus scenic cruising of the Cape Cod Canal.

"Our goal is to be the first choice in cruising the Great Lakes, Canada, the St. Lawrence Seaway and New England markets by offering the finest cuisine and hotel product onboard, along with memorable and unique destination experiences that stand above and beyond the rest," said Bruce Nierenberg, president and CEO of Victory Cruise Lines, in a press release.

"We have dedicated significant time, resources and effort to make sure that our guests are able to explore and participate in the real essence of these communities and their people."

The Great Lakes the Victory II will also sail exclusively to ports on Lake Superior. Such cruises will go to Marquette and Houghton, Michigan; Duluth, Minnesota; and Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Other featured destinations will be Milwaukee, Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin; and Muskegon, Michigan; as well as Mackinac Island, Michigan; Parry Sound, Ontario; Little Current, Manitoulin Island, Ontario; the Soo Locks between Lake Superior and the Lower Great Lakes and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
