Virgin Voyages Announces Beach Experience in Bimini

Virgin Voyages has kept the industry busy with a steady stream of announcements, and the latest news revealing the cruise line will boast a private beach club experience in The Bahamas is one of the most exciting tidbits thus far.
The Beach Club at Bimini will be the cornerstone of every voyage on the cruise line’s ships, with white-sand, crystal-clear waters and entertainment that will rival the best beach clubs in Ibiza and Saint-Tropez.
The Bimini beach club was designed with Miami-based architects EOA, Inc. and built by Resorts World Bimini. It will overlook the ocean and cascade down to the sea with an expansive lagoon-style pool as the central anchor of the club.
When visiting The Beach Club at Bimini, travelers will be treated to yoga and meditation in the mornings, DJ-led pool and flotilla parties in the afternoon and a beach bonfire with an acoustic musical performance in the evening.
Grammy-Award-winning artist and producer Mark Ronson will curate the soundtrack for The Beach Club at Bimini and will perform four times at the island in 2020. Dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
As for the food at the island paradise, the complimentary food will be thoughtfully sourced and based on local cuisine, including conch and mango salad, banana leaf-wrapped queen snapper, Bahamian rum cake and more.
The property will also feature six bars, social spaces with hammock groves, beach-side and poolside cabanas available for rent, watersports and beach play. For RockStar Suites passengers, there will be a dedicated bar, complimentary food service, an outdoor terrace lounge, sun loungers and beach cabanas.
In addition to the news about The Beach Club at Bimini, it was announced that Sir Richard Branson’s four-night Havana After Dark birthday voyage would depart on July 15, 2020.
