Miray Cruises, Turkish cruise line and pioneer of Life at Sea Cruises, which will offer a three-year voyage beginning later this year, has acquired MV Lara, a new cruise ship that will take travelers on the world’s longest voyage.
The ship will launch on November 1, 2023 and will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Turkish Republic. The ship will offer several different stateroom designs, a business center with private offices for travelers working remotely, a cigar and wine bar, 24-hour on-call hospital with free medical visits, a lecture series and voluntourism and philanthropic opportunities.
The three-year journey will span 130,000 miles and visit 382 ports across 148 countries, including the continent of Antarctica. The itinerary also includes a visit to the thirteen Wonders of the World, as well as many UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Many of the destinations include overnights and multiple days in-port to allow for greater exploration.
