Travelers sailing aboard some Holland America Line cruise ships can now play a live version of the popular TV game show “Deal or No Deal.”
The company has introduced the interactive, hosted game on nine of its ships.
During the game, a host invites travelers on stage to deal for cash. The audience can also play along for a chance to win prizes, including a free cruise. The interactive experience will occur once or twice per voyage, depending on the ship, on either the World Stage or in the Rolling Stone Lounge.
The cruise line is partnering with TimePlay, an entertainment software company, to bring the game to its vessels. “Deal or No Deal” is available on more than 85 ships around the world.
"We're excited to add this program to our lineup and we look forward to guests enjoying this interactive game," says Daniel Materassi, senior vice president of guest commerce for Holland America Line.
