Barbados is partnering with JetBlue Airways to offer travelers $400 off select JetBlue Vacations flight and hotel packages in the sunny southern Caribbean destination. Vacationers who make bookings from May 7 through May 14 for travel between May 7 and October 1, 2019 will receive the discount and qualify for additional savings through several exclusive hotel partners.
Consumers can book packages with any of JetBlue's Barbados hotel and resort partners, including more than 100 accommodation options from all-inclusive resorts and luxury hotels to villas and budget accommodations, said Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) officials.
The vacation packages include flights and accommodations starting at $2,500, double occupancy. Travelers will receive exclusive amenities and services when staying at Barbados' Sea Breeze, Ocean Two, Hilton Barbados hotels and the Port Ferdinand Luxury Resort and Residences.
The special amenities include welcome gifts, food and spa credits, free airport transfers, late checkout, on-property discounts and room upgrades and more. The hotel-specific amenities apply to bookings made through June 30.
Packages must be booked using the promotional code BGI400 by May 14, with the discount applied to the rate at the time of booking. JetBlue offers direct service to Barbados from New York, New Jersey, Boston and Ft. Lauderdale.
"This is the largest discount amount we've ever offered and one of the first times we've combined an offer with a week-long destination-specific focus on our marketing channels," said Michael Pezzicola, JetBlue Travel's head of commercial. "Our goal is to introduce our customers to the wonderful experiences and service of JetBlue Vacations and the island of Barbados."
"We couldn't be more pleased to be the destination of choice for JetBlue Vacations' mega summer promotion," said Petra Roach, BTMI's U.S. director. "[We] are confident that the aggressive marketing campaign behind it will reap outstanding results."
