The Caribbean will once again lead the way when it comes to hosting spring break getaways in 2027.
New insights from STS Travel, which specializes in college spring break vacations, spring break packages and group travel for college students, reveal places like Cancun and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and Nassau, Bahamas are drawing the most interest from college students.
"Cancun is the top choice for college students seeking all-inclusive resorts, beaches, pool parties and nightlife," says STS Travel.
The vacation packager also touts Grand Oasis Cancun as the destination's premier spring break escape. "The large beachfront resort attracts college students from across the United States each March with its expansive pool, entertainment and Spring Break atmosphere," the company said.
In Cabo, Riu Santa Fe stands out for its "more than 1,400 rooms, multiple swimming pools, swim-up bars, a water park and RIU's themed pool parties."
College-age travelers looking to let off some steam in Punta Cana may consider a host of well-equipped resorts, including Riu Republica, Barcelo Bavaro Palace and Occidental Caribe.
In Nassau, STS Travel recommends the 375-room all-inclusive Breezes Resort & Spa Bahamas. "During Spring Break, students can enjoy scheduled entertainment, contests, beach activities and live DJ performances," says STS Travel.
