Jamaica is calling.
The Caribbean
country has just announced that it’s extending its JAMGETAWAY sale offering
guests up to 65 percent savings at 50 participating hotels in six resort areas.
Jamaica has welcomed 2.4 million visitors to date in 2024
including over 240,000 who stayed on the island after the passing of Hurricane
Beryl this July. To show its gratitude, the JAMGETAWAY offer has been extended
and Jamaica is inviting travelers to take advantage of the hotel savings until
August 16, 2024, for travel taking place between September 1 and December 1,
2024.
“Jamaica’s incredible resilience and steadfast spirit have
allowed us to sustain a thriving
tourism product and keep us on track to welcome five million visitors by
next year,” said Hon. Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism, Jamaica. “We are
incredibly appreciative of the support, so have decided to extend this
limited-time savings offer for those looking to enjoy Jamaica’s beautiful and
vibrant experience before the end of the year.”
“We couldn’t think of a better way to thank visitors than
with an opportunity to save on their next visit, whether it’s for a last-minute
fall getaway or a warm weather winter escape,” said Donovan White, Director of
Tourism, Jamaica.
He added, “Jamaica’s warm hospitality and vibrant
personality is what truly makes the ‘vibe come alive’, and we look forward to
welcoming both new and returning visitors to enjoy this unique distinction.
