Serbia Reports 5 Percent Growth in Overnight Visitors

Despite the economic crisis that overshadowed tourism performance in the continent's other countries last year, Serbia chalked up growth. While international arrivals remained stable over the previous year totaling 645,301, overnights expanded to 1,469,651 with foreign guests staying longer, for a growth rate of 5 percent in a challenging year for the industry world-wide.
