Disneyland Resort announced newly reimagined locations and
experiences for guests planning their visit this fall, including the debut of Tiana’s
Palace and San Fransokyo Square.
Officially opening earlier this week, Tiana’s Palace is a quick-service
restaurant inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, “The Princess
and the Frog,” and located in New Orleans Square.
The new menu includes New Orleans-inspired dishes and
seasonal flavors, including the Seven Greens Gumbo, gulf shrimp and grits,
house-filled beignets and regional dishes using select ingredients sourced from
Louisiana when available.
At San Fransokyo Square—which opened August 31—guests at Disney
California Adventure Park will experience a mash-up of two iconic cities, San
Francisco and Tokyo. Inspired by “Big Hero 6,” the plaza features a new
character greeting opportunity, themed food and beverages, shopping and more.
In addition, Disneyland revealed other new and updated
experiences, including the soulful sounds of Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz
Band on Rivers of America on select nights, The Heartbeat of New Orleans – A
Living Mural debuting on September 29 and Adventureland Treehouse later this
fall.
Over at Downtown Disney District, travelers can relax at the
new alfresco hangout spot, The Alley by Splitsville, and indulge in food
offerings inspired by the Pacific and Gulf Coasts at the reimagined Jazz
Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio.
Disneyland’s fall celebrations will also include Halloween
Time (running through October 31) and Plaza de La Familia (running through
November 2), with arts and crafts for all ages, specialty food and beverage
offerings and live entertainment across the resort.
