Just as the Universal Orlando Resort is doing in Florida, Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating the holiday season this year with the introduction of Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The festivities will transform the Hogwarts castle into a winter wonderland using a light projection show, as well as turning the Hogsmeade village into a Christmas oasis featuring decor themed to each of the individual storefronts and holiday-themed food and beverages.
Once nighttime falls during the new Christmas in The Wizarding World events, the familiar sounds of Harry Potter music will resonate throughout the park as projection mapping illuminates Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with animations.

The holiday-themed program is the first since The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened in 2016 and uses stories and characters from J.K. Rowling's books and films. The area of Universal Hollywood features snow-capped roofs, cobblestone streets, a thrill ride dubbed Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, along with the Flight of the Hippogriff outdoor family coaster.

In addition to the rides and other attractions, visitors will also find ample dining options with a Harry Potter twist. The restaurants include Three Broomsticks, Hog's Head pub and the Magic Neep and Butterbeer carts.
More details regarding the Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter festivities will be revealed in the coming months.
