Air Canada has launched its new ad campaign with the help of Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds.
"Our Home" will be found on television, online and in theaters throughout the holidays. The campaign portrays the deeply personal connections people have to their homes and their loved ones at this time of year.
With Reynolds acting as the narrator, the ads will also focus on the national pride Canadians feel about their country. The latest commercials are part of a larger campaign Air Canada launched in November.
"I felt a connection to this script because I know what it's like to carry that feeling of home with me wherever I go," Reynolds said in a statement. "Being a Canadian who travels all over the world, I understand how my home made me who I am and the special regard people everywhere have for Canada.
"But what's even more exciting to me is that Air Canada, through the Air Canada Foundation, has been involved with Canadian charities like SickKids, an organization I've also been fortunate to work with."

Air Canada asked Canadian travelers to share a story on social media about who they most wished to spend the holidays with. The people who told the eight stories deemed the most meaningful received a pair of tickets from anywhere the airline flies. In order to make the moment even more memorable for the winners, Air Canada hosted in-airport celebrations when passengers arrived and saw their loved ones waiting for them.
"The stories we heard were all unique and really touching," Air Canada managing director Andy Shibata said in a statement. "It's very gratifying to experience these moments because our customers are always at the center of everything we do."
Reynolds will continue to work with Air Canada in 2018 as part of additional projects.
