Japan will soon have a solution for sad-looking burritos that make you feel far happier than they should.

That's right; Taco Bell is headed to Japan.

Just remember, Japanese friends. No matter how many hot sauces you ask for it is never enough, which is something you will learn in time.

The Wall Street Journal's Jun Hongo (h/t Eater) reports, "Restaurant chain operator Asrapport Dining Co. announced that it will open the first Taco Bell restaurant in Japan in decades in the Dogenzaka area of Tokyo's Shibuya district on April 21."

That means the heavy breathing and smiles that come from a trip to the iconic fast-food restaurant will be shared by the blissful masses across the Pacific.

And Taco Bell Japan's Twitter account has been celebrating in tandem:

The report states that the usual fare will be provided, namely that of the taco and burrito variety. However, there is reason for those used to Taco Bell to traipse into the diner if you get a chance, because there will be Japan-only items as well.

The two mentioned are the shrimp and avocado burrito and taco rice. The latter obviously needs some explanation, so we thank a spokeswoman who offered, "Taco rice will be a plate of taco meat and vegetables served on top of rice."

We assume it's like a taco salad minus that pesky lettuce that just gets in the way.

The report does offer insight into cost: "Prices haven't been set, but the spokeswoman said a combo meal including drink and side orders is likely to cost about ¥800 ($6.70). Asrapport is scheduled to open additional Taco Bell outlets soon."

As for hours, the report promises the Taco Bell will be open from 10 in the morning until 11 at night, which is just in time for any sensible dietary decisions to go out the window.

Now Jun Hongo reminds this isn't the first foray of the eatery into Japan, because it dipped its toe into the country's waters in the 1980s only to axe the experiment quickly.

And you can get Taco Bell at U.S. military installations within the country. But now, thankfully, you have something to sate that hunger for crunchy tacos and eventual heartburn.
