At one time, 1Time Airline was a South African air carrier that created one hilarious commercial.
It's time once again to throw things back and enjoy what the travel industry gave us in the days gone by.
Consider this our moment to recall that decade when an ominously named airline decided to tout the rare amenity that was more headroom in the cabin.
Yes, we would very much enjoy more legroom. In fact, we will take any room you might throw our way, fine airline.
However, we can't do much with headroom, seeing as how we are sitting 90 percent of the time.
But we certainly enjoy the airline's ad campaign:
Incidentally, that website URL leads to South African Accommodations and Travel, but it once belonged to a far more streamlined service.
Wikipedia fills in the blanks for a now shuttered airline, which "was a South African low-cost airline that operated between 2004 and 2012."
According to the same entry, the company's name is taken from a South African saying that means "for real!"
That's all well and good, but I would want my airline to be named at the very least 2Times, indicating a return flight at some point.
Sadly, it seems this ingenious ploy of adding headroom to its planes didn't work, and the airline folded in 2012.
Its legacy lives on in the comedic annals of YouTube, and we are so very grateful for that fact.
