Universal Orlando Resort has revealed the details of its upcoming Holidays celebration and for the first time there will be decor at Super Nintendo World and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.
Park officials also announced that the cosmic winter wonderland of Celestial Park will return for the holiday season, which kicks off at the Florida amusement park November 14 and runs through January 3, 2027.
In addition to themed decor, there will be seasonal experiences inspired by beloved holiday stories, characters and traditions, like Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter across all three parks, Grinchmas in Seuss Landing at Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at Universal Studios Florida.
Here's a closer look at some of the holiday season highlights on tap at Universal Orlando Resort for 2026.
Merry in-park experiences
- Guests can celebrate Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter across all three wizarding world locations this season: Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure, Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida and Ministry of Magic at Universal Epic Universe.
Each land will feature festive lights and décor, along with holiday-themed entertainment at select locations.
In The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, guests can also experience “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” – a nighttime spectacle of projection and special effects against the Hogwarts castle inspired by holiday moments and characters from the Harry Potter films.
- Grinchmas at Seuss Landing: The whimsical wonderland of Grinchmas comes to life in Seuss Landing at Universal Islands of Adventure, where guests can enjoy the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular,” a live stage show based on the Dr. Seuss classic, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” Plus, guests can meet the mean, green one himself, The Grinch, stroll the dazzling Who-Ville Tree Lot, and more.
- Universal’s Holiday Parade: Holiday cheer takes to the streets of Universal Studios Florida with Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s. The nightly parade features larger-than-life balloons alongside elaborately themed floats inspired by beloved characters from Illumination’s Despicable Me, and DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek and Madagascar, as well as timeless holiday favorites. The festive procession culminates with a Christmas tree lighting led by none other than Santa Claus himself.
- Holiday decor: For the first time, Universal Orlando’s newest theme park, Universal Epic Universe, will feature special holiday décor in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. Plus, guests in Celestial Park can discover a cosmic winter wonderland complete with twinkling trees and holiday-themed fountain displays throughout the day at the Cosmos Fountain.

The
Universal Holiday Tour
Guests with two-park, park-to-park access to
Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure can embark
on a two and a half hour guided tour of Universal’s holiday offerings
during the Universal Holiday Tour, complete with: an exclusive
meet-and-greet with The Grinch; an exclusive meet-and-greet with The
Grinch’s faithful dog Max; reserved seating area for “The Grinchmas
Who-liday Spectacular;” a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus and reserved
viewing area for Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s (Optional).
The
Universal Holiday Tour will be available on select dates beginning
November 14, 2026 through January 2, 2027, and can be can be booked by
visiting www.VAXVacationAccess.com.
Holiday fun at Universal Citywalk
The
spirit of the season extends beyond the parks and into Universal
CityWalk and Universal’s collection of hotels with a slate of festive
offerings.
At Universal CityWalk, the Green and Red Coconut Club
returns, transforming the Red Coconut Club into a festive retreat filled
with live entertainment, seasonal cocktails and vibrant décor.
Holiday festivities at Universal Orlando Hotels
Universal
Orlando’s 11 hotels will also feature holiday fun including unique
seasonal décor tailored to each hotel’s distinctive theme, special menus
and holiday activities ranging from menorah lighting ceremonies to
Christmas tree lightings and strolling carolers.
Hotel guests will
also receive exclusive benefits including Early Park Admission and
complimentary transportation to the theme parks.
