It's that time of year again! Back-to-school is right around the corner. With so much shopping and preparations on your to-do list, enjoying one last fun-filled family adventure sounds like the much-needed break from it all.
To celebrate the back-to-school season, Universal Orlando Resort is kicking off a month-long Back to Hogwarts event in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. The special event has already been sold-out, but those participating have a lot to be excited for.
One of the main reasons kids love going back to school is that they get to see their friends and make tons of new ones-which is precisely what Back to Hogwarts is focusing on. Unlike your typical theme-park event that includes an emphasis on merchandise or special entertainment, this one brings about a social aspect to it.
Participants are highly encouraged to show up in all-out costume form-Universal sells robes, wands and other special Harry Potter themed goodies to complete your attire. They do have some costume guidelines, so make sure you still adhere to those.
In an effort to bring numerous Harry Potter fans together in one place, Universal scheduled a few group photo opportunities-meant to give "Potterheads" the chance to meet other fans and enjoy a day full of Harry Potter cosplay.

The Back to Hogwarts event is sure to bring a smile to everyone, no matter their age. All guests are encouraged to have fun, be safe and enjoy one last big-bang before school begins again.
