Las Vegas-based supercar driving experience Exotics Racing has launched an all-new Sin City attraction in Vegas Superkarts.
The pulse-pounding experience located at Las Vegas Motor Speedway just 15 minutes from The Strip features a new fleet of 4-stroke, gas-powered Sodikart SR5 270 CCs and the longest, fastest and widest outdoor go-kart track in Las Vegas.
More powerful than the average electric indoor go-kart, the Sodikart SR5 boasts innovative technology that includes a 2D adjustable pedal. Meanwhile, the 2,100-foot asphalt track designed by Exotics Racing co-founder Romain Thievin specifically for go-karts includes more than a dozen turns as well as professional safety barriers.
Another cool feature is the Vegas Superkarts app, which riders can download via iPhone or Android to register online and check out live rankings enabling them to compare their times and ranks against other drivers and past records.
Ideal for families, bachelor parties and other groups, Vegas Superkarts can accommodate up to 12 go-karts on the track at any one time. Pricing begins at $35 per race, per person and drivers must be at least 14 years old and at least 55" tall to drive. However, the Sodikart 2Drive offers two seats allowing passengers who are at least 42" tall to come along for the ride.
Drivers will be required to watch a safety briefing video and strap on helmets before receiving the green flag.
"We created this experience because go-karts are just pure fun and it's representative of who we are," said David Perisset, co-founder, Vegas Superkarts by Exotics Racing, in a statement. "This experience is nothing like you've seen before-our fleet of go-karts reach top speeds of over 40 mph around a track with a variety of straightaways and technical turns. Vegas Superkarts races are also offered at a great price which makes it ideal for groups and families looking for an adrenaline-pumping experience."
Now through June 30, Las Vegas residents and U.S. military experiencing Vegas Superkarts will receive a 12-month membership that includes a special price of $25 per race, one complimentary birthday race and 10 percent off all Exotics Racing supercar experiences.
Vegas Superkarts expects to make additional announcements later this year, including information about night sessions and new junior go-karts for drivers ages eight through 14.
