Please forgive us for ever complaining about the cramped confines aboard airplanes, because big Brian Shaw puts a whole new meaning on squeezing into your seat.
Digg spotted the following video from YouTube channel Shawstrength, which features Shaw boarding a flight.
Now that doesn't sound like a terribly interesting video. We have all boarded flights, and the task is usually as entertaining as having to labor through a day at the DMV.
However, Shaw is is 6'8" and 420 pounds, which classifies him as a mountain. And you can't just ask a naturally occurring landmass to board a flight without some discomfort.
And that's what Shaw endures, great discomfort.
TIMEexplains that Shaw is actually renowned winner of the World's Strongest Man competition in 2011 and 2013. So we have to wonder why he didn't just carry the plane to his destination.
He can bench press 525 pounds after all.
More than the amazing video, we appreciate Shaw's wonderful outlook, because he seems to roll with the circumstances rather well.
At the end of the video the behemoth declares with a grin: "Hey, Guys. Just made it to Columbus. As you can see it was kind of a long day of travel for me, but it was good. Glad to be here."
That is a relative celebration compared to how we describe a flight when finally reaching our hotels. From now on, our seats will seem absolutely cavernous compared to the tiny accommodations Shaw has to deal with.
