Northstar Travel Group launches Global Travel Marketplace
Luxury, with the inaugural event taking place at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge
in Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ, from July 28–30, 2025. The event is an expansion of
the successful Global Travel Marketplace brand, joining the flagship event,
GTM, and GTM West.
Following the proven GTM format, GTM Luxury is a highly
curated, intimate, and focused B-to-B event inclusive of structured one-on-one
meetings, exclusive boardrooms, and networking opportunities. It is designed to
facilitate direct connections between luxury buyers and sellers, providing
ample time for relationship-building and deal-making.
“GTM Luxury will set a new standard for luxury travel
events,” says Alicia Evanko-Lewis, Executive Vice President of Global Events,
Northstar Travel Group. “By combining the proven formula of GTM with the unique
needs of the luxury travel market, this event will enable suppliers and buyers
to come together, build lasting relationships, and drive significant growth in
the luxury travel space for all parties involved.”
Luxury travel agency owners and advisors applying for GTM
Luxury must have an existing network of high-net-worth clients, at least two
years of sales experience in the luxury travel sector, and proven luxury sales
of at least $800 to $1,000 per person, per day. Suppliers attending GTM Luxury
will include high-end hotels and resorts, private jet and yacht charter services,
luxury tour operators and destination management companies (DMCs), tourism boards
and destinations, exclusive travel experience and adventure providers, premium lifestyle
and wellness brands, luxury cruise lines, and expedition providers.
“At Northstar, we saw the need for an event that would bring
together the key players in the luxury sector, using a proven event format
perfected over more than a dozen years at our GTM buyer-seller events.” says
Mary Pat Sullivan, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships. “The
launch of GTM Luxury is a direct response to the increasing rise of the travel
advisor in today's consumer travel marketplace. We want to be sure we are
always at the forefront of championing travel and supporting the most crucial
industry connections and relationships.”
