Don't ask your flight attendant if you can get off the plane before anyone else, and definitely don't bug them for a free drink. Those are just two of the most commonly asked questions flight attendants despise, according to Thrillist.com.
The website reached out to several flight attendants to determine the most annoying questions they get the most often in their travels. While the results aren't all that surprising, they're certainly worth reviewing ahead of your next flight.
It turns out that there are a handful of requests passengers should avoid making, including asking to use the bathroom in first class, asking for a bottle of water to down a pill before takeoff and asking to change seats.

Asking to hang out in the galley and seeking out special discounts from your flight attendant are also big no-nos.
Personal questions like "is it hard for you to date?" and "what is your route?" should also be avoided at all costs. After all, the latter hardly makes sense since flight attendants don't fly the same route each day.
There are other things flight attendants can't possibly know but are asked about anyway. Questions like "am I going to make my connection?" or "do you have any tips on buying tickets?"
Finally, no matter how curious you are, don't ask what you're currently flying over on the way to your destination.
