Avoya is bolstering its Partnership and Growth organization, designed to strengthen supplier relationships and increase sales for travel advisors, by hiring two executives – Julie Howard and Kameish Stanley – to support the host agency’s next stage of growth.
Effective March 25, Julie Howard, who is based in Southern California, will join Avoya as vice president of partnerships.
“Julie brings 20 years of experience with the Signature Travel Network, where she most recently led all cruise partnerships and worked closely with many of the top-performing agencies and suppliers in our industry,” said Avoya CEO Phil Cappelli.
She will be responsible for overseeing existing partner relationships, with an emphasis on strengthening Avoya’s preferred partner strategy.
On March 23, Kameish Stanley, based in Florida, will join Avoya as vice president of strategic growth.
“Most recently with Oasis Travel Network, Kameish brings strong experience in building advisor-focused programs and driving growth across multiple travel segments,” Cappelli said.
She will be charged with leading “the development of Avoya Select (working title), a new luxury-focused initiative designed to expand our presence and performance in the luxury segment,” Cappelli said.
“This will bring together a curated portfolio of partners across destination management companies, hotel, air, luxury land and cruise, creating new opportunities for targeted growth,” he added.
Stanley will oversee promotions and Avoya’s Travel Leaders Network relationship, which provides the host agency’s independent advisors with access to the consortium’s marketing tools, cruise/hotel programs and more.
“These updates are designed to bring greater alignment across our organization and create more focused opportunities for growth together,” Cappelli said.
