In October, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) invites everyone to fall in love with cruising as the organization celebrates National Plan a Cruise Month. The campaign features a variety of opportunities for cruisers from unprecedented vacation offers, chances to win dream cruises and the ability to to discover new cruises and destinations through a variety of deals and discounts.
Cruise Planners is helping its franchise networks maximize National Plan a Cruise Month with the "It's Time to Cruise" campaign.
"For a while now, Cruise Planners has leveraged CLIA's focus on cruises and we have always celebrated all month long," said COO Vicky Garcia. "This year, for CLIA's National Plan a Cruise Month, we created an "It's Time to Cruise" campaign and theme. Each year, we create a powerfully integrated marketing campaign and a toolkit for our franchise network which contains digital and print marketing collateral, a direct mailer, postcards, flyers, press release, social media posts, images and information on hosting a themed cruise night and more in this multi-channel marketing campaign."
Currently, Cruise Planners is providing its travel partners with "A Fall Harvest of Travel," featuring reduced deposits, upgrades, beverage packages, onboard credits and more in association with National Plan a Cruise Month.
"We feel offering our travel advisors a variety of tools is the best way to help them focus on selling travel using the tools and tactics that are strongest for their target audience," said Garcia. "We also provide ongoing content such as suggested call scripts, blog posts and supplemental Facebook posts to keep them engaged with their followers on social media."
Cruise Planners affiliates can sell clients on Southern Caribbean deals with Royal Caribbean, including 50 percent off of the second guest fare and free upgrades.
There are deals on sailings to the Greek Isles and the Mediterranean with Celebrity Cruises on sailing in April 2016 for 12 nights and featuring onboard credits, beverage packages, free gratuities, unlimited Internet and more.
There are also special savings offered throughout the month on Azamara, Holland America and Princess Cruises that will help Cruise Planners' agents get their clients onboard in October.
