Travel Leaders Network’s annual Edge conference wrapped up this week and in addition to drawing more than 2,000 attendees (including 1,800 travel advisors) there was a flurry of valuable industry news that emerged from the event.
Not to worry if you weren’t able to attend. TravelPulse was on hand for all of the happenings, which took place May 3-6 at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center in Chula Vista, California.
Here’s a look at some of the top takeaways from the conference's last few days. And in case you missed it, here’s our report from the conference’s kickoff.
Agent Profiler Marks Major Milestone
Travel Leaders Network (TLN) currently serves more than 100,000 travel advisors across 5,700 locations throughout the United States and Canada.
And one of the key forms of support TLN provides is the consumer-facing Agent Profiler, which showcases more than 22,000 consumer-facing TLN profiles and helps consumers find the right advisor for everything from cruises and luxury travel to destination weddings and river cruises.
And here’s the important headline from the conference: Since being launched in 2012, AgentProfiler has delivered more than 2 million consumer leads to member agencies.
“Reaching 2 million leads demonstrates both the strength of our membership and the continued value travelers place on working with trusted experts who can personalize and elevate their travel experiences,” said Lindsay Pearlman, president of Travel Leaders Network.
That’s not the only good news related to AgentProfiler. According to TLN, leads generated through the platform are up 30% year over year, with an average booked trip value exceeding $11,000. The conversion rate of platform generated leads, meanwhile, is nearly 25%. And since launching AgentProfiler has generated more than $4 billion in lead value for members.
“Reaching 2 million leads demonstrates both the strength of our membership and the continued value travelers place on working with trusted experts who can personalize and elevate their travel experiences,” said Lindsay Pearlman, president of Travel Leaders Network.
Another noteworthy announcement from the conference with regard to AgentProfiler: The platform will now have an AI tool that’s designed to help advisors build their profiles with generative AI engine-optimized language.
Major SNAP Upgrade to Streamline Advisor Booking Workflow
Another notable development for travel advisors, TLN is rolling a significant upgrade to SNAP, its proprietary booking platform. That includes introducing a suite of new features designed to simplify the path from shopping to booking, while also giving advisors “greater flexibility, efficiency and control.”
At the core of this enhancement is a new feature called “Trip Proposal,” which enables advisors to build and present multiple hotel options, room types, air options and car rentals within a single, client-friendly interface.
In addition, advisors can save proposals, revisit them later to re-shop and validate pricing and finalize bookings without leaving the workflow, TLN revealed. The tool also allows advisors to add service fees directly into the proposal, helping advisors monetize their expertise more seamlessly.
Yet another enhancement delivered by the update is more robust search capabilities aimed at improving efficiency earlier in the booking journey. Advisors can now refine results with expanded qualifications, including roundtrip, multi-leg and multi-city itineraries, as well as cabin selection by flight segment.
“SNAP is one of the most valuable tools our members have,” said Pearlman. “As booking scenarios become more complex, these enhancements give advisors the flexibility, functionality and
support they need to better serve clients and grow their business.”
New Family Travel Certification
Family and multigenerational travel is one of travel’s most reliable and fastest-growing revenue drivers, according to TLN. Underscoring that point, research from the Family Travel Association and NYU recently revealed that 92% of parents and grandparents plan to take a family trip in the next year, with 81% expecting to spend more than they did previously.
In response to this sort of demand, TLN unveiled a variety of new offerings during the EDGE conference including a new Family Travel Specialist certification for advisors. In order to earn the certification, advisors will will need to complete an established training model including coursework, partner-led sessions, and assessments that are meant to ensure “advisors have rigorous education in their chosen specialty, not just a rubber stamp.” Advisors will have up to two years to complete the program.
The certification is merely one part of TLN’s enhanced family travel support. As TravelPulse previously reported, TLN has also launched a new digital family travel magazine titled “Connections” that’s aimed at helping advisors engage clients and convert inspiration into bookings. TLN expects to launch a print version of the publication next year.
Lindsay Pearlman Takes The Stage For First Time As TLN President
The 2026 EDGE conference marked Pearlman’s first as the company’s president. And during meetings with the media and when taking to the main conference state, Pearlman stressed that his focus as president will be evolution, not an overhaul of TLN.
“If it’s not broken, don’t fix it,” Pearlman told attendees. “But we always must be moving forward, keep learning, keep improving and keep growing. That’s to keep our competitive edge, because this incredible industry isn’t standing still. The world we travel isn’t standing still, so why would we?”
Moving forward, Pearlman said he will be focused on strengthening and expanding TLN, ensuring that it delivers the best possible support for its travel advisor community.
