WHY IT RATES: The host agency is chartering a European cruise onboard the Seabourn Sojourn for this year's Summit 4.— Lacey Pfalz, Associate Writer, TravelPulse
Travel Experts, the premier Host
Agency with more than 500 advisors, will host Summit 4, an
advisor/supplier gathering for learning, networking and cementing relationships,
on the Seabourn Sojourn Sept. 21-28, 2024.
Summit 4 is
close to a sold-out event with 165 advisors and 70 suppliers currently booked
for the chartered cruise on the Seabourn Sojourn sailing in Europe.
“Summit 3 in 2023
exceeded our expectations,” said Sharon Fake, Executive Director of Travel
Experts, adding: “Seabourn Cruise Line was the best, with the service onboard
close to perfection, and the educational component was outstanding. The
feedback we received was all positive, especially praising our one-on-one
lengthy meetings between advisors and all of the suppliers and the networking
over dinners and free time. We are all looking forward to being on another
Seabourn ship in September.”

At the conclusion of Summit 3, Wendy

time we can welcome travel advisors on our vessels is a valuable experience.
The Summit, as a charter, makes it a special opportunity to network together
and showcase the vessel at the same time.
The Summit 4 seven-night cruise on
the Seabourn Sojourn will depart Dover, England, stopping first in France at Le
Havre and Cherbourg (Normandy), then Bilbao, Spain and Porto, Portugal before
ending in Lisbon, Portugal.

gathering.”
One of the more popular ingredients
is the speed dating meetings between all the advisors and the suppliers. “Advisors
get to spend quality time in these meetings with suppliers and walk away with
both information and a stronger relationship with the suppliers,” said Sharon
Fake.
