After a chic restyle the Belmond La Samanna is preparing to welcome guests once again.
The St. Martin property, located within the island's most prestigious neighborhood overlooking Baie Longue's mile-long white sands, will open its doors on December 10.
As part of the refresh, the entire resort, including its 83 guest rooms and its public spaces, now ooze a pastel-chic vibe. The new pastel blue, green, pink and peach coloring was inspired by the natural tones of the Caribbean Sea. In addition, shells and corals are used alongside intricate and colorful botanical prints on fabric, artwork, lighting and mirrors.
The resort's sophisticated beachfront French restaurant Trellis will be reopening to offer meals with European finesse, the company said. The historic La Cave Wine Cellar, the largest private wine cellar in the Caribbean, will also offer a memorable dining experience paired with fine wine curated by the head chef.
Finally, the new look Beach Bar is to be a glamorous nightspot by the water's edge for champagne or a cosmopolitan cocktail as the sun goes down. Furnishings include playful swings, monochrome lounge seating and dramatic chandeliers.
The Belmond resort also offers a variety of activities designed to cater to all interests. Right near the resort, shopping lovers will find designer boutiques and fashionable market stalls lining the colorful French capital of Marigot.
Meanwhile, the property's Water Sports Cabana caters to the active adventurer. Baie Longue beach provides the backdrop for a host of water sports and excursions, including water-skiing, kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, snorkeling and scuba diving off nearby reefs.
Not to be overlooked, La Samanna Spa is nestled in tropical gardens and offers indulgent locally-inspired massages and treatments by luxurious French brands Sisley and Pure Altitude.
Earlier this year, Belmond also announced the reopening of its Anguilla property. The Belmond Cap Juluca, damaged by Hurricane Irma, is now aiming to lead a new era of beach-chic glamour on the island of Anguilla.
