BlueBay Group has announced today a new addition to its portfolio, the five-star emblematic Hotel Miguel Angel in Madrid. With this new incorporation the hotel group expands its presence in Spain, with its current presence in Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Costa del Sol and Barcelona.
BlueBay Group intends to position the hotel among the best in Madrid and for this reason; the Spanish chain is planning a complete renewal of the hotel in which 35 million euros will be invested. This new project includes the comprehensive reform of both the interiors and exteriors, as well as creation of new facilities and an extension of our gastronomic offerings.
Joaquim Janer, CEO of BlueBay Group, said: "Hotel Miguel Angel will represent one of the most important hotels in the capital and we feel extremely positive about it. We are sure that after the renovation process, the hotel will become the flagship luxury five star establishment of the capital and of whole Spain."
Five-star Hotel Miguel Angel consists of 267 rooms. The hotel is located on Miguel Ángel with Castellana Streets, one of the most elegant and important shopping, residential and business districts in Madrid. With magnificent views of the Paseo de la Castellana, the hotel offers all necessary comforts to satisfy the most demanding guests. Its prime location, next to the major museums and football stadium Santiago Barnabeu, a few minutes from downtown and in proximity to the convention center Ifema and to Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas International Airport, makes it a perfect spot for business and leisure.
Hotel Miguel Angel has three restaurants: a buffet restaurant Arco, M29, a Mediterranean restaurant and exterior El jardín de Miguel Ángel, opened during the summer season. Additionally, the hotel has a 24-hour fitness center, heated swimming pool and spa, offering the latest facial and body treatments. For guests disposal, Hotel Miguel Angel offers a business center and more than 1000 square meters of meeting space, divided into 12 conference rooms, with a capacity up to 500 people.
