Online travel agency Booking.com is sprinkling some extra sweetness into this holiday season by celebrating the release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Wonka” by offering two double-occupancy stays in what it’s calling “Wonka’s Sweet Suites”—one on the East Coast and the other on the West.
Available to book exclusively on Booking.com, and offered in partnership with Highgate Hotels, these candy-coated getaways, will take place on one night only—from December 15–16—and be available for booking on December 13 at 12:00 p.m. ET on a first-come, first-served basis.
This pair of whimsical stays will be hosted at two city-chic hotels, Park Lane New York in New York City and Viceroy Santa Monica in Los Angeles, each of which will be transformed into a “world of pure imagination,” inspired by the highly-anticipated film, and complete with amenities and activities befitting true candy connoisseurs.

“Wonka” is a completely original story that reveals the origin story of Willy Wonka, the beguiling character at the center of Roald Dahl’s literary classic “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” The film introduces audiences to a young and idealistic Willy who, fresh from scouring the globe to source the finest ingredients, is determined to change the world through the enticing art of confection.
Both of Wonka’s Sweet Suites have been designed and will be lovingly crafted to promote a feeling of “main character energy” in their guests, aligning with the express desire of the 64 percent of U.S. travelers who wish to be the “stars” of their vacation, according to new data from Booking.com.
Guests who snag these special accommodations at Park Lane New York's Conservatory Suite and Viceroy Santa Monica's Palmetto King Suite will find themselves surrounded by all-you-can-treat experiences and a host of delightful edible amenities. The suites feature limited-edition Wonka Magic Hat Gummies, life-sized chocolate confections, a replica of the enchanting tree in Wonka's candy shop, and a decadent “chocolate bar” bed, adorned with “marshmallows” and surrounded by “cotton candy” clouds. All of these specially designed elements will weave an exclusive in-suite wonderland inspired by the film and promote the sweetest of dreams.

The magical experience includes an overnight stay, airport transfers, tickets to see “Wonka” in theaters, vintage destination posters, postage-stamp wallpaper inspired by the title character’s travels, candy-inspired beverages and more. The special suites are priced at just $12.15, a nod to the film's U.S. release date on December 15. But, only two pairs of guests will be lucky enough to catch this deal, so don’t snooze on the booking date.
For members of Genius, Booking.com's loyalty program, who are at Level 2 or Level 3, the Wonka's Sweet Suites experience gets even sweeter with a complimentary chocolate-infused breakfast. With a Booking.com account, users gain lifetime access to exclusive travel rewards, starting with a 10 percent discount, valid for hundreds of accommodations and select car rentals.
