With the Caribbean Sea as the backdrop, a vacation at the all-inclusive Moon Palace Resort in Cancun is guaranteed to please even the most discerning traveler.

This Palace Resorts property offers a slew of dining options with a spate of on-site restaurants, offering everything from steak and fish to Asian and Mexican fare (and quite a bit more). Guests will have a tough time leaving the Moon Palace Cancun and an even tougher time deciding where to eat.

Arrecifes, for example, is a traditional Brazilian steakhouse and uses the traditional red card/green card to ensure guests have their fill of the region's choicest meat selection. A large salad bar means that non-meat eaters also have plenty from which to choose. Located in the Central lobby of the Moon Palace Cancun Nizuc, Arrecifes offers breakfast daily with such traditional options as a fruit and yogurt bar and omelet station. Reservations not required.

International buffet by day, steakhouse by night, the Palapa Barracuda at Moon Palace Cancun Sunrise features casual poolside dining. Vegetarian options are available as well.

Bugambilias, inside the Moon Palace Cancun Sunrise, features authentic Mexican cuisine prepared with the freshest local ingredients. The relaxed atmosphere means it's the ideal place for a quick or casual buffet meal, whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. Los Caporales, meanwhile, offers traditional Mexican fare with a modern twist. Open only for dinner, this à la carte restaurant is located at the Moon Palace Cancun Nizuc and does not require reservations.

For an upscale evening, Riviera Maya in the Moon Palace Sunrise is the place to be. The Moon Palace's chefs create gourmet meals each night based on traditional Mayan cuisine. Reservations are required.

For international fare, head over to the El Manglar in the central lobby of the Moon Palace Cancun Nizuc, where guests can enjoy a buffet meal with a constantly changing spate of options.

Palapa Fragata may be a seafood lover's dream but vegetarians will find plenty of flavorful, Spanish-inspired options to keep them happy. Located poolside, the restaurant offers an a la carte and buffet dinner from 6 pm to 11 p.m.

Meanwhile, lovers of contemporary and traditional Asian cuisine will gravitate to Momo, where guests can choose from the freshest sushi or dining at one of the hibachi tables (reservations required).

Italian specialties are on offer at three of the Moon Palace Cancun's dining venues. La Gondola, located just off the central lobby in the Moon Palace Cancun Sunrise, serves up an international breakfast buffet and a sumptuous a la carte menu celebrating classic Italian entrees each evening. La Trattoria offers a view of the golf course and entrees created in the spirit of traditional Italian recipes. Reservations are required.

For a sweet treat or a little afternoon pick-me-up, head over to either the Café Bistro (Moon Palace Cancun Sunrise) or the Sweet & Coffee (Moon Palace Cancun Nizuc), which serve up fresh pastries, ice cream, crepes, coffee and more.

Other dining options include Palapa Delfines, Palapa Pelicanos and Pepe's Pizza.
