Club Med Cancun is raising the bar on its wellness and family facilities, with a new Sports & Wellness Island and an enhanced Family Oasis area.
The new Sports & Wellness Island, which is slated for completion in April 2024, will “incorporate a new palapa for a serene yoga experience in the trees with a lagoon view, plus facilities for archery, bocce ball, mini golf, multi-sport courts and the famed Circus School by Club Med,” Club Med said.
The Family Oasis and Children’s Clubs will provide “guests more space to play with a new look and feel inspired by the beauty of Mexico and Mayan architecture,” the company said, adding that they will be set adjacent to pickleball courts and the Aguamarina family section. Work is expected to be completed by December 2024.
The resort’s Kids Club will be moved to the Aguamarina section in order to “minimize travel distance from family accommodations,” Club Med said.
At Baby Club Med, parents will be able to leave their kids, ages 4 to 23 months, in the hands of trained staff.
“Babies will be able to discover color, sounds and the natural environment through activities including music workshops, nature walks, painting activities and daily family activities like cooking classes, pool parties and snack time,” the company said.
Other enhancements include a splash park, waterpark, mini pool, fun zone, and mini cinema.
