The Grand Spa at Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort at La Fortuna/Arenal, Costa Rica, is offering two new spa packages designed to promote wellness and relaxation. The three-night/four-day packages are priced at $1,496 double occupancy, and feature four spa treatments for each person, accommodations, entrance to the hot springs, and one lunch. Composed of 11 open-air bungalows, the Grand Spa sits in a singular and seductive location at the base of the Arenal Volcano and is surrounded by mineral-rich thermal springs and exotic gardens. Additional features are a three-unit Temazcal sweat lodge area and an open-air Yoga Studio surrounded by the rainforest. Packages are based on availability and additional nights are available for $260. Taxes are included. The Yin Spa Package is priced at $1,496, inclusive of taxes, and includes three nights in a Superior room for two people; two neck and shoulder massages; two reflexology sessions with marine mud; two facials; Temazcal for two people, the native Indian sweat lodge; one lunch for two at Ave del Paraiso restaurant; and entrance to the hot springs. The Yang Spa Package is priced at $1,456, inclusive of taxes, and includes three nights in a Superior room for two people, two neck and shoulder massages, two facials, two balneotherapy (Jacuzzi with choice of milk, lavender or sea salt); Temazcal for two people, the native Indian sweat lodge; one lunch for two at Ave del Paraiso; and entrance to the hot springs. Both packages are valid until Nov. 11.
