Denver Hotels Offer July 4 Deals, Calendar of Events

Several Denver hotels are offering July 4 nightly room rates starting at $79, while others are offering a second night at $52.80 to guests paying published rates for the first night. In addition, a variety of events are scheduled for the holiday weekend. Among them are the Cherry Creek Arts Festival (www.cherryarts.org) , July 3 to 5, featuring 230 juried visual artists; Civic Center Sounds: Independence Eve Celebration (www.coloradosymphony.org) , July 3 at Civic Center Park, a free community concert featuring patriotic favorites performed by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra; and the National Veteran Wheelchair Games (www.wheelchairgames.va.gov), July 4 to 9 at the Colorado Convention Center, the Apex Meyers Swimming Pool, the Cherry Creek Family Shooting Center, and other venues in and around Denver.
