Hawanawana Spa at Four Seasons Resort Lanai has been recognized by the International SPA Association (ISPA) with a 2018 Innovate Award.
The ISPA Innovate Awards celebrate ISPA members' creative solutions and products that help continue to move the spa industry forward. ISPA members determined the winners by voting for their favourites among a lengthy list of 80 Innovate applications.
Hawanawana Spa, whose Hawaiian name translates to whispering ocean, was recognized in the Experience category.
"We are extremely pleased to receive this award," said Alastair McAlpine, general manager, Four Seasons Resorts Lanai. "Since opening our new spa in 2017 we have focused on creating an environment where our therapists customize every treatment to each guest, aligning with partners who create luxurious, memorable experiences for their clients, and providing experiences that go beyond the ordinary, such as offering complimentary enhancements on a variety of treatments as well as a roster of health and wellness classes."
