During the second edition of the Tianguis International Magical Towns, held in Los Angeles, California, Xcaret was recognized for its tourism and cultural value by the California Mexico Trade Office. This organization was founded with the objective of promoting commerce and strengthening the economic, political, and cultural relationship between the state of California and Mexico.
