Hilton Honors is expanding its lineup of extraordinary experiences and exclusive access for its members in 2019.
Most notable among the new experiences is the Hilton Honors Concert Series being curated specifically for Honors members. Produced in partnership with Live Nation, the concerts will feature a roster of intimate music performances at iconic hotels and venues across the globe (which appears to be a growing trend among hotels, Kimpton announced a similar program earlier this week).
The concerts kick off tomorrow with Walk the Moon at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas and will continue with performances later this year by Jake Owen, Jessie J and more.
In addition to the concert lineup, expanded Hilton Honors offerings for this year include new once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
The opportunities being rolled out range from private dance lessons with Emmy-winning superstar Derek Hough to an exclusive Las Vegas game night with rock legend Steven Tyler and VIP tickets to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on March 29, where such legends as The Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music, and The Zombies will be inducted.
Still more options include a ski adventure in the idyllic Swiss mountains and the ultimate winemaking experience in Algarve, Portugal.
"Building off what we've offered our members over the past few years, we're thrilled to introduce an incredible array of new experiences in 2019. We know members want to use their points for the greatest 'return on experience,' and we're able offer even more this year by working with our hotels and best-in-class partners," Mark Weinstein, senior vice president and global head of customer engagement, loyalty, and partnerships at Hilton, said in a statement.
"Whether it's free nights at luxury hotels and resorts in places like the Maldives, Bali or Bora Bora, exclusive racing experiences around the world with McLaren or concerts featuring chart-topping artists through our partnership with Live Nation, we want to give our members the chance to fulfill the experiences they've always dreamed," added Weinstein.
The Hilton Honors program has been experiencing record growth in recent years. There were more than 14 million new members in 2018, bringing membership to more than 85 million.
In addition, the number of points redeemed by Hilton Honors members via Hilton Honors Experiences increased by nearly 50 percent last year.
