Hilton revealed the name of its new lower midscale extended-stay brand – LivSmart Studios by Hilton – which was originally introduced under the working title of Project H3 and designed to serve what the company believes is an underserved market.
The apartment-style brand, Hilton said, will offer “simplicity, consistency and convenience to guests who may be traveling for weeks or months at a time.”.
LivSmart Studios “has received tremendous interest from owners and developers in just six months and currently boasts more than 350 deals in various stages of negotiation,” Hilton said.
Ground has already been broken on the first property in Kokomo, Ind.
The hotels will be equipped with a light-filled lobby with a basic retail market, a laundry room, a fitness center, and an outside area featuring with seating and a firepit and grill.
Accommodations will include fully equipped kitchens with standard-size refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, two-burner cooktops, and a generous amount of storage space.
“LivSmart Studios creates a space where guests can seamlessly maintain their daily routines while also immersing themselves in the local community,” Hilton said.
