Keeping little kids entertained is vital to a successful vacation, so HIT Entertainment and the All Inclusive Hard Rock Hotels of Mexico and the Dominican Republic have now tapped into four of the most popular television entertainers to provide new interactive experiences in their Little Big Clubs.
Angelina Ballerina is a cartoon mouse created by author Katharine Holabird. The television series is set in Chipping Cheddar, and wee ones who visit the Little Big Club will learn the same dance moves from Angelina's Live on Stage show. There will be photo ops as well as a tea party with games. Crafts include making a jewelry box out of a recycled cereal box. Little dancers can also play dress up at the Little Big Club with magical makeup, custom hairstyling or braids, a Mouseling manicure with pedicure and, of course, they get to use the barre.
Barney is a bilingual purple dinosaur who first came into America's living rooms on PBS Kids in 1992. Since then, he has been entertaining children from ages 1 to 8. He encourages sharing, caring, imagining, dancing, and learning through music and songs. In the Little Big Club, kids can enjoy Barney sing-a-longs in both English and Spanish. Kids will not only play musical instruments, but they will learn how to make maracas, tambourines, and other musical instruments in Barney's Music Room. (Barney character appearances are not available at the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta.)
Kids know that Bob the Builder can fix it, but can he keep them entertained? The animated builder started as a British children's animated television show created by Keith Chapman. Bob appears with his colleague Wendy, neighbors and friends and, in each episode, helps with renovations, construction, and repairs. Bob's Can-Do Crew teaches positive thinking, problem solving, and teamwork. Fans of Bob the Builder enjoy a special sing along performance and photo opportunity, then help to build props for the stage show. Kids enjoy interactive sand building and also get to build a town with LEGOs, blocks and cereal boxes in a construction zone.

Thomas & Friends started as a British children's television series that had its first broadcast in Great Britain in 1984 and is based on The Railway Series of books by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry. Thomas pulls into the Island of Sodor and teaches kids about the value of friendship, fair play, team work, and what it means to be a Really Useful Engine. In the Kids enjoy storytime and relay races with Thomas, take photos and build and race their very own engine with Thomas, Percy and Gordon.
Each of The Hard Rock's Little Big Clubs also has a mini-theater where kids participate in movie nights, dance classes, talent shows and karaoke. A weekly live show, produced by RWS and Associates, will entertain kids of all ages as their favorite characters form their own rock band.
