Hyatt Hotels Corporation is continuing to bolster its presence in the Dominican Republic with the scheduled 2029 debut of Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana.
Before the debut of Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana in 2029, Hyatt is scheduled to open Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana and Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana, both planned for 2026.
The company entered into a management agreement with Codelpa, owner of Secrets Tides Punta Cana, which opened in early 2024, for the Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana.
“Following the successful debut of Secrets Tides Punta Cana, we look forward to expanding the Hyatt Ziva brand in Punta Cana, complementing Hyatt’s growing brand presence in the region and offering a family-friendly experience on the destination’s white sand beaches,” said Codelpa President Alvaro Peña.
The property will offer six bars, five specialty restaurants, an international buffet, a snack bar, and a coffee parlor.
Amenities will include a fitness center, yoga studio, outdoor gym, spa, five pools—including adults-only and kids pools—pickleball courts, plus Kids and Teens Clubs.
Family activities will include mini golf, climbing walls, a ropes course, and bowling.
“Punta Cana continues to be a prosperous destination for our guests and members seeking a family-friendly resort experience, and we are committed to expanding our brand presence and offerings within this trending region to meet these needs,” said Antonio Fungairino, head of development for Latin America & Caribbean, Inclusive Collection, Hyatt.
