Mövenpick Set to Launch First Dubai Residence

The Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai is opening a new residence building to launch the Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Bur Dubai in February this year. Kingdom Hotel Investments (KHI), a resort and hotel investment company, acquired the building in 2006 to complement and provide additional capacity to the adjacent Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai, also owned by KHI. The new building will have 57 fully furnished apartments which consist of six one-bedroom apartments, 47 two-bedroom apartments and four three-bedroom apartments. The residence offers a lounge facility, rooftop swimming pool, fully equipped gym, steam and sauna rooms, underground parking and is professionally serviced by the hotel's housekeeping and room service divisions.

The contemporary style offers spacious living rooms, balconies and fitted kitchens with modern fixtures and high-speed wireless internet access throughout. All guests have full use of the hotel's facilities including the seven eclectic dining venues currently available, which are only a few steps from the residence building. Adjacent to the Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai, the residence building will benefit from its proximity to the airport, World Trade Exhibition Centre, Dubai Healthcare City and luxury shopping malls. The target markets for the residence building are short-stay corporate travelers, medium-stay expatriates relocating to Dubai and GCC families during the summer months. The launch of the new residence follows the completion of the 26 newly constructed hotel rooms on the fifth floor of the hotel property.
