OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels has completed the acquisition of the Kaua’i Beach Resort & Spa in Līhu‘e.
The property was managed by OUTRIGGER in the 1990s. It features 25 acres of tropical beachfront property and 350 rooms and suites in several different configurations, including accessible rooms.
Members of OUTRIGGER’s executive team and of the resort celebrated the transition with a traditional Hawaiian blessing led by Kumu Blaine Kamalani Kia, in which a moment of silence was also observed for Maui.
“OUTRIGGER feels the heartache of the Maui fires deeply… many of our employees lost their homes and loved ones,” said Jeff Wagoner, president and CEO of OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group. “But in times of sorrow, there is a certain healing in embracing new beginnings and being intentional to lift people up. Today’s tying of the maile lei was about bringing people together, not only here, but across Hawai‘i and across the world – it is an important symbol for us to be able to link ourselves together and move on into the future.”
Travelers can learn more about the resort and book stays through OUTRIGGER’s website and through their preferred travel advisor.
