Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest independent hotel brand, added nine new properties to its portfolio this spring in destinations ranging from the Austrian Alps to the beaches of Sri Lanka.
Each new member property now offers the same benefits for guests and members of the portfolio’s I Prefer Hotel Rewards loyalty program.
Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol, Legend Collection
Located in Telfs, Austria 4,200 feet above sea level in the Alps, the Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol is a modern-rustic chalet hotel featuring seven dining options, a holistic spa offering the best of European and mountain wellness experiences, a panorama pool and plenty of seasonal activities to encourage travelers to connect with nature.
Virgin Hotels New York City, L.V.X Collection
Following its recent grand opening, the Virgin Hotels New York City boasts 39 stories with 460 guest rooms, an outdoor pool and plenty of dining and entertainment spaces, as well as meeting and event spaces. Virgin Hotels are known for combining sophistication with liveliness, and this hotel does just that.
Hotel Villa Real 5*, Madrid, L.V.X Collection
The Hotel Villa Real 5* is located in the heart of Madrid’s cultural quarter, near the city’s most iconic and important museums and attractions. The 115-room hotel offers private balconies or terraces with city views, as well as its own art and archaeology collection.
Marino Beach, Colombo, Connect Collection
Marino Beach, Colombo is located on the coast of Sri Lanka’s capital city of Colombo and offers a contemporary experience with a zero-edge rooftop infinity pool, terrace and garden with ocean views, six restaurants and bars, on-site spa and access to the Beach Lounge.
The rest of the properties are Hotel Balmes 4* in Barcelona, Spain, now a part of Preferred’s Lifestyle Collection and Preferred Residences; BOHO CLUB MARBELLA in Marbella, Spain, now a part of the Lifestyle Collection; the Borgo Scopeto Wine & Country Relais in Siena, Italy, now a part of the Lifestyle Collection; MYRIAD by SANA in Lisbon, Portugal, now a part of the L.V.X Collection; and Hotel Beausite in Interlaken, Switzerland, now a part of the L.V.X Collection.
