Following a $1 million refurbishment, the Barcelo Tucancun Beach is due to open this month with a new look and feel sure to delight both repeat and new guests.
The 334-room, four-star property, located on the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula just a few steps from the Caribbean and the Nichupte Lagoon, will debut several newly revamped features, including a new clubhouse with lobby, lobby bar, terrace, on-site boutiques, 24-hour self-service snack shop, fitness center and Club Premium Lounge, as well as such new appointments as fresh tiling and decor throughout.

The Barcelo Tucancun Beach's new fitness center will appeal to even the most exercise-averse guest with its Life Fitness line of equipment. Guests can choose from three treadmills, recumbent lifecycles bikes, stair climber, elliptical and free weights as they get into shape.
