Sometimes less is more. That's certainly the case for one hotel that recently opened in the Swiss Alps.
Null Stern Hotels, which is German for Zero Star Hotels, is the brainchild of brothers Frank and Patrik Riklin, who opened their first property inside of a former nuclear bunker in Teufen, Switzerland back in 2009.
For those who cherish a room with a view while traveling, the company's newest zero-star hotel is a must-add to the bucket list.
Nothing more than a double bed and a pair of nightstands situated in the mountains, the "room" boasts 360-degree views of stunning landscape and even comes with personal butler service.

According to the Mirror, the butlers, which double as local farmers, greet guests in the morning with hot coffee and organic salami sandwiches.
Nonetheless the hotel lacks other common amenities, including a bathroom or shower.

But if its romance and simplicity you're seeking, few if any other hotels will be able to compete with its nighttime view of the stars.
Plus, the room isn't limited to the rich and the famous.
One night spent at the mountainside room will cost guests roughly $255. And last-minute cancellations are acceptable if the weather doesn't cooperate. When it does rain the room is covered with an agricultural protection sheet, the Mirror reported.
The first room opened in southeastern Switzerland more than 6,400 feet above sea level and is available now through the fall.
