UNICO 20°87° Hotel Riviera Maya, UNICO Hotel Collection’s flagship adults-only resort redefining the upscale all-inclusive experience, is proud to announce the eighth edition of its hallmark cultural celebration series, Superbia Summer.
Taking place from July 21 through August 23, this year’s immersive takeover will unfold under the theme “A Summer Shaped by Fire,” as prestigious collective of culinary and artistic visionaries take the wheel, for a full-scale regional takeover, where the country’s top chefs, mixologists, and artisans transform the property’s daily routine into a series of curated residencies, workshops, tastings, and performances.
Grounded in the idea that fire brings people together, the four-week series will explore culinary traditions inspired by the roots, culture, and connection of the land. Superbia Summer invites guests to indulge in a slice of paradise and embark on a journey through the senses alongside some of the best talent found in Latin America.
This edition will feature distinguished guest chefs such as Mirciny Moliviatis (Guatemala), Enid Velez (Mexico), Marcelino Castro (Argentina), Sebastian Pinzon (Colombia), and Matias Palomo (Chile), who will bring culinary concepts inspired by their locality’s roots, ingredients, and traditions to the resort.
The experience will also include collaborations with internationally recognized mixologists Gaston Santandreu, known for classic tropical and Tiki cocktails; Karla Quevedo, specializing in bitters-forward creations; and Franco Battezzati, presenting inventive, contemporary cocktails.
Aligning with the hotel’s artistic and cultural vision, Superbia will also showcase contemporary creators and artists—including Karla Peña, known for her contemporary textile art studio, 86 Nudos; Pablo Serrano, whose copper sculptures have been featured in international exhibitions; Demetrio Carrillo, an expert in Wixárika art; Mexican painter Ana Valdés; and Rodrigo Reynoso, a painter of abstract urbanities.
At the heart of Superbia Summer is a celebration of the makers and flavors that leave the Mexico experience peerless on a global stage. Connected by fire, this season the property highlights the foundational pillars of Mexican culture: the richness of its table and art as the defining expression of its identity, which, when brought together, create a space where Superbia Summer finds its purpose, uniting world-renowned artisans with time-honored traditions.
All Superbia Summer experiences are available to resort guests who stay between July 21–August 23, 2026, at no additional cost.
