The Vdara Hotel at CityCenter in Las Vegas is now accepting reservations. Opening Oct. 1, Vdara will be the first of CityCenter's developments to debut, followed by the Mandarin Oriental and the Crystals retail and entertainment district in early December. CityCenter's grand opening celebrations will culminate with the launch of the Aria Resort & Casino Dec. 16. Nightly room rates at Vdara range from $159 to $2,000. The non-gaming, smoke-free, sustainable hotel will be physically connected to Bellagio and adjacent to the Aria. The Vdara will offer access to all of the entertainment, gaming, shopping, dining and nightlife at CityCenter and in Las Vegas. Rising 57 stories, the hotel will offer 1,495 suites ranging from 500 to 1,650 square feet, as well as Vdara Health & Beauty, its 16,000-square-foot, two-level wellness spa, salon and fitness complex; restaurants including Silk Road, Bar Vdara, the Sky Pool & Lounge, and the Gourmet Grocer; 10,000 square feet of conference space, and a Nancy Rubins art installation, Big Pleasure Point, a composition of rowboats, kayaks, canoes, small sailboats and other water vessels finessed into a gravity-defying form.
