Viva Resorts by Wyndham has expanded its presence in the Caribbean with the opening of the all-new all-inclusive Viva Miches by Wyndham.
The 538-room resort debuted in Miches, Dominican Republic on December 20, 2024. The property, which will expand to 750 rooms in the future, is situated in the secluded coastal town of Playa Esmeralda about 90 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.
Accommodations include sprawling oceanfront suites as well as ground-level "Splash" rooms equipped with private plunge pools. Meanwhile, among the exciting amenities are a sparkling infinity pool with a swim-up bar, a convenient Kid’s Club for families offering a supervised activities program with crafts, games, themed parties and more.
Other highlights include world-class culinary experiences at five restaurants, including one buffet-style and four à-la-carte options serving Latin Fusion, Oriental Fusion and Mediterranean in addition to local flavors of the Dominican Republic.
Guests can also look forward to entertaining productions, lively dance classes and signature Viva Vibe Parties. In between, travelers can explore pristine beaches and nearby natural attractions like Los Haitises National Park.

Viva Miches is also committed to sustainable tourism practices, adhering to the Wyndham Green Program focused on waste reduction, utilizing solar power and community engagement to support local conservation efforts.

"In the Dominican Republic, Miches is known for being uncharted, so we’re bringing natural beauty, modern luxury, and an all-inclusive experience to this enchanting, undiscovered beachfront locale."
The new resort is celebrating its grand opening with two limited-time offers, including rates starting at $153 per person, per night with one complimentary night or rates from $117 per person, per night with 45 percent off the reservation when guests book by February 13, 2025, for travel through July 31, 2025.
Viva Miches marks the brand's ninth property and sixth in the Dominican Republic.
