Rendez-vous Canada (RVC), the premiere international tourism trade marketplace for the country, will return to Alberta for its 50th anniversary next year.
The event, presently taking place in Toronto, brings together members of Canada’s travel trade with buyers from around the world, showcasing the diversity and depth of the nation’s destinations and tourism offerings.
“Tourism’s opportunity to contribute to Canada’s trade diversification efforts starts on the tradeshow floor, and the growing visitor economies of Calgary and Alberta will provide the perfect setting for those global business connections,” said Marsha Walden, President & CEO, Destination Canada. “We are thrilled to welcome the world to Calgary for Rendez-vous Canada’s 50th anniversary to showcase the strength, competitiveness and momentum of Canada’s $134 billion tourism sector on the world stage.”
RVC is no stranger to Alberta. It was hosted in the capital city of Edmonton in 2024 and the province is excited to have the event back for the milestone anniversary.
“Rendez-vous Canada 2027 in Calgary will be a defining moment to showcase Alberta on the global stage, connecting international buyers with the experiences that set us apart,” said David Goldstein, President and Chief Executive Officer, Travel Alberta. “Through this signature event, we will bring Canada’s Wild Side to life, driving new business, strengthening global partnerships and delivering lasting impact for our visitor economy and communities across the province.”
RVC 2027 will take place in Calgary, from April 28 to May 1, 2027.
