Two people were found dead in the landing gear compartment of
a JetBlue plane that landed at a Florida airport on Monday night.
According to ABCNews.com,
the two publicly unidentified bodies were discovered by JetBlue employees while
they were conducting a “routine post-flight maintenance inspection” at Fort
Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Kennedy International Airport before the Airbus A320 landed in Florida at 11:03
p.m. ET on Monday.
Officials from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International
Airport said no flight operations were impacted by the deadly discovery.
“At this time, the identities of the individuals and the
circumstances surrounding how they accessed the aircraft remain under
investigation,” a JetBlue spokesperson told ABC News.
“This is a heartbreaking situation, and we are committed to
working closely with authorities to support their efforts to understand how
this occurred,” the airline’s statement continued.
Last week, dramatic video captured two
planes nearly colliding at Los Angeles International Airport. The Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) is now investigating after a Key Lime Air flight
carrying the Gonzaga University men's basketball team was ordered to stop
before crossing a runway as a Delta Air Lines plane was taking off.
