On Saturday, a woman was removed from an Alaska Airlines flight after she started yelling at a fellow passenger for being a supporter of President Donald Trump.
According to CBSNews.com, Scott Koteskey boarded an Alaska Airlines flight from Baltimore to Seattle when the woman and her husband sat down in the row next to him. After finding out that he supported President Trump, the unidentified woman began yelling at him.
“You pretend you have the moral high ground, but you put that man’s finger on the nuclear button,” the woman said in the video. “That man doesn’t believe in climate change. Do you believe in gravity? Did you know gravity is just a theory?”
Koteskey shared videos of the incident on Facebook:
Eventually, flight attendants on the plane asked the woman to leave, but she refused and said that she was flying with her husband back to his home following the death of his mother.
Alaska Airlines officials were forced to call the police, who boarded the plane and took control of the situation. Maryland Transportation Authority Police Lt. Kevin Ayd told CBS News that the woman and her husband were removed from the plane at 5:30 p.m. local time Saturday night.
The couple was not charged with any crimes, and Alaska Airlines issued them a full refund for their missed flight. A spokesperson for the airline said the couple would be allowed to book Alaska Airlines flights in the future.
