ALG Vacations (ALGV), the leading provider of vacation packages to top global destinations, is proud to announce the appointment of Jermaine Humphrey as Regional Sales Director for the Western Region, signaling a renewed commitment to the travel advisor community across the Heartland, Mountain, and Western regions of the U.S.
The appointment is part of a broader sales team realignment focused on delivering enhanced support in this growing travel advisor community.
Humphrey brings extensive industry experience to the role, having previously served in sales leadership positions at Marival Resorts, Playa Resorts, and The Mark Travel Corporation. In his new position, he will lead the strategic development of ALGV’s Western sales territory while mentoring a growing team of regional Business Development Managers and inside sales support.
“As we expand our presence and reinforce our presence in the West, we are thrilled to welcome Jermaine to the team,” said Jim Tedesco, Vice President of Sales for ALG Vacations. “He understands the unique opportunities and challenges for advisors in the region and brings both vision and experience to help us better serve our partners.”
In addition to Humphrey’s appointment, ALGV has recently added several new team members in key Western and national markets to support increased demand and deepen travel advisor engagement:
- Kalan Scherle, previously with Playa Resorts and Palace Resorts, has been appointed Business Development Manager for select accounts generating over $115K in sales across California, Oregan, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, and Wyoming.
- Natalia Piruyman, formerly of Pleasant Holidays, Iberostar Hotels, and AAA, joins as New Growth Development Manager for growing accounts under $115K in California.
- Shachi Shah, a former advisor and veteran of Pleasant Holidays and GOGO Vacations/Worldwide Traveler, joins as New Growth Development Manager for growing accounts under $115K across Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and Nevada. Shah will also provide inside sales manager support for the Western Region BDM team.
Joining veteran team member Shelly Williams (BDM for Kansas and Nebraska), these new hires reflect ALGV’s ongoing investment in people-first partnerships and advisor-focused growth strategies.
