Classic Vacations, the #1-rated global luxury travel company, is continuing to build its leadership team with the appointment of Carmen Gashnikov as Head of Host Sales.
This news comes on the heels of Classic’s impactful promotions of numerous longtime company leaders. Sharon Conway was recently named interim CEO, while Joelle Apilado Cruz was named Senior Vice President, Supply Management of the Americas and Bonty Escallon was named Vice President, Supply Management of Europe. These leadership transitions support Classic’s focus on building upon the company’s strong foundations, while creating new opportunities for growth for both Travel Advisors and supplier partners.
Carmen brings more than 15 years of experience across the travel and hospitality industry, with a strong background in sales, strategic partnerships, and business development. Throughout her career with leading organizations including Marriott, TUI, Hotelbeds/Bedsonline, and Europe Express, Carmen has built a reputation for developing strategic partnerships and commercial strategies that drive growth and create long-term value.
In her new role, Carmen will lead Classic’s Host Sales commercial strategy, focused on strengthening key partnerships, expanding travel advisor engagement and penetration, and identifying new opportunities to accelerate growth across the host channel.
