Jeffrey C. Rutledge, CEO of the Travel Guard companies under Zurich Cover-More, has made the decision to retire effective March 1, 2026.
Rutledge led AIG Travel and Travel Guard subsidiaries as CEO for nearly twenty years, growing it into a well-known global travel insurance and assistance franchises.
“It has truly been an honor to work with the Travel Guard team and our incredible global partners over many years, and to see the franchise now become a part of the Zurich Cover-More family,” said Jeff Rutledge.
Zurich Cover-More acquired AIG’s Personal Travel Insurance in December, 2024.
“We appreciate Jeff’s dedicated and vital leadership to ensure a seamless transition of Travel Guard into Zurich Cover-More, and wish him every success as he begins this next chapter,” said CEO Zurich Cover-More, Chris Vink.
